Pitti Bimbo/ Lively and authentic styles in smaller versions…

Pitti Bimbo is the second Pitti Fair we visited located in the heart of Tuscany, Florence. Every year thousands of buyers and people involved in fashion travel to Italy to learn about the upcoming trends, new brands, shapes, textiles and many other things. Every room, every brand is there to inspire the visitors.
Although Pitti Bimbo, as the name already tells us is for children’s wear, it can be an inspiration for fashion people of any age.

At this year’s Pitti the main theme is about motorcycles, which surprisingly I didn’t see a lot of brands interpreting. Most of the collections presented by the brands were spring and summer wear. Cotton voile dresses, chiffon skirts and mini short in printed silk were the center of these years’ Pitti. Lively and authentic styles in smaller versions.

There were three brands, which caught my eye right away.

“Caco Design” an accessory brand which designs jewelry not only for girls but also for moms.  The two designers of the brand are two mothers, who launched their brand in 2009. The brands philosophy is that “Everyone is a child in heart”.

The second brand that I really enjoyed at the fair is a brand named “ Golden Goose Deluxe Brand”.  This brand focuses on skateboard shoes and graphic T-Shirts for boys and girls. “GGDB’s” main aim is to put a smile on children’s faces. That is why the profit obtained by the sale of each collection will be given to associations, which take care of troubled children.

“Kom” an Argentinian brand caught my eye with their interesting and colorful printed rompers. Besides rompers they also have a home decoration line including fabrics and cushions, as well a line of accessories such as laptop covers, bags and purses.
