Pitti Bimbo: Little Fashionistas In The Making

The Pitti Bimbo fair presented some of the world’s best children’s fashion designers. It has become increasingly apparent that the best accessories for moms are no longer their handbags, but their kids instead. Some children are more consistently well dressed than their parents.

For girls, high fashion tailored suits, delicate embroidery, and evening dresses for special occasions were given much emphasis at the trade fair. The three brands that caught my attention the most were Pale Cloud, Suzanne Ermann Paris and Lesy.

1. Pale Cloud

Pale Cloud is a high-end fashion brand for girls. The brand reminded me a lot of Stella McCartney’s womenswear adapted to kidswear. It is children’s daily couture with many garments made of silks, tailored suits with matching bottoms, and loose fitting dresses. The overall look of the collection is feminine but in a minimalistic way. The clothes are match made in heaven for little fashionistas strolling down the street of New York City or Paris.

2. Suzanne Ermann Paris

The brand sells exclusive kids clothing for special occasions, such as birthday parties and weddings. The garden themed wedding/tea party mood is reflected in the collection. The collection consists of many tutu dresses in neutral colors. There is also a full selection of accessories such as hairbands and bags to match. The dresses are well structured, girlie, and made from the finest tulle and satin materials. I can totally see Victoria Beckham’s baby Harper wearing this brand.

3. Lesy

Lesy is a brand that combines the highest quality materials with natural Italian flare to create their exquisite creations, handmade in Italy with love. The three collections presented at the fair were Lesy Cruise, Lesy Paradise and Lesy Ceremony. My favorite was none other than Lesy Ceremony. The collection consists of couture dresses for kids, which I was totally mesmerized with. Most of the dresses are made from chiffon, tulle and satin materials. The beautifully crafted designs fuse with a dreamy aesthetic, and delicate embroidery will make every girl looks like a princess on parade.
